About the event

A multi-course seated dinner celebrating chicken and the egg — a humble cornerstone of Southern cooking — and the recipient of the Frank Stitt Award for Industry Excellence.

Heritage | noun | her·i·tage: Something passed down from the past—traditions, recipes, culture, and cuisine—shaped by generations before us. Rather than a single story, our state’s culinary heritage is a tapestry of ingredients, adopted by cultures and communities across the state, that together result in the rich food traditions that define us today.

Each year, the Heritage Dinner spotlights an ingredient rooted in our region, exploring its role in shaping our foodways. This year, we gather around chicken and the egg—a humble cornerstone of Southern cooking and a reflection of the land’s natural cycles.

As the festival’s kickoff event, this immersive, multi-course dinner will feature celebrated local and regional chefs, each offering their interpretation of this timeless duo - rustic yet refined, nostalgic yet new. The evening will also honor this year's recipient of the Frank Stitt Award for Industry Excellence - Chef Anne Quatrano - a pioneering force in Southern cuisine whose commitment to farm-to-table cooking and sustainability has shaped the way we grow, cook, and gather.

21+. Includes all food and beverage. Event is rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges. No pets allowed.
