Esteemed chef and James Beard Foundation Semifinalist for Best Chef: California (2023), Robbie Wilson, who now calls Nashville, TN, home, is joining Chef Jacob Stull of Birmingham's Rêve for an immersive, multi-course HOSTED dinner on Friday, September 26.
The night will feature a collaborative six-course tasting menu that highlights each chef's expertise in French techniques, Southern ingredients, and a deeply rooted passion for storytelling through food. With previous experience working in renowned kitchens around the country and a dedication to exceptional hospitality, Jacob and Robbie are excited to invite guests in for a memorable tasting menu experience and culinary journey that blends both adventure with familiarity. More about the guest: Robbie Wilson has refined his culinary craft training under renowned chefs Michel Troisgros (Roanne, France), Tom Colicchio (New York City), Thomas Keller (Napa Valley), and Nobu Matsuhisa (Aspen, Colorado). Over a nearly 30-year career, he’s held influential roles at M Street Entertainment (Nashville), Matteis Tavern (Santa Barbara), BIRD DOG (Palo Alto), and Le Fantastique (San Francisco).
In 2023, Robbie was named a James Beard Foundation Semifinalist for Best Chef: California. In 2025, he and his wife Emily launched SuperNormal, a fast-casual spot in Nashville known for burgers and hot dogs “beyond the normal,” with their second Nashville restaurant, Lion’s Share—an elevated, chef-driven concept—set to open later this year.
