Chefs Sam Yoo from New York City’s acclaimed Golden Diner and Wil Drake from Birmingham’s homegrown HERO, are teaming up to celebrate their mutual love of breakfast plates and innovative twists. Together, they’ll remind us just how fun — and delicious — the most important meal of the day can be. Expect breakfast-y stuff, creative diner fantasies, and plenty of adult beverages and cocktails to keep the party going.

More About the Guest: Sam Yoo is a Korean American chef and native New Yorker who made his mark on the city’s culinary scene with the 2019 opening of Golden Diner, where he reimagines classic diner fare through an Asian American lens. A love letter to the surrounding neighborhoods of Chinatown, Little Italy, and the Lower East Side, Golden Diner has earned national acclaim, most recently landing on The New York Times’ list of “100 Best Restaurants in New York City.” In 2025, Yoo expanded his vision with Golden Hof, a Korean Bar & Grill that celebrates his heritage with bold, contemporary takes on traditional Korean cuisine.
