Breakfast for Dinner is the Golden ticket! We all loved the night when mom and dad declared, “we’re having breakfast for dinner!”  It usually meant they couldn’t figure out what else to cook on a busy weeknight but it’s always a favorite. Chefs Sam Yoo from Golden Diner in New York City and Wil Drake from Birmingham’s homegrown HERO, will collaborate on their mutual love of breakfast plates, and innovative combinations reminding us how delicious, and what a party the most important meal of the day can be.  Expect breakfast-y stuff yes, but other diner fantasies, adult beverages and cocktails will fill the menu. 

New York Chef Sam Yoo and his wildly popular Golden Diner restaurant serve many more guests each day than one could imagine from the small space. Located under the Manhattan Bridge at the convergence of Chinatown and the Lower East Side, the neighborhood heavily informs Sam’s menu. Classic breakfast plates and inspired dishes that are a direct influence of the current and historic groups of people that have lived in the neighborhood sit next to each other on the menu. Chef Yoo grew up experiencing the diversity of New York tastes and he translates his personal history to delicious and unique plates.
