For one evening, the iconic Highlands welcomes two very special guests—Marie Stitt and Edward Crouse, co-founders of babas, Charleston's trio of all-day, European-inspired cafés—for a festive aperitivo. Chef Frank Stitt's daughter, Marie, met her husband Edward while studying food culture in Northern Italy. The couple fell in love with the convivial aperitivo tradition, bringing that spirit home to Charleston to open babas in 2018. The beloved Charleston café is known for their signature Tiny Tinis, natural wines and savory snacks. Marie and Edward will join Frank, Pardis and Weston Stitt for a celebratory evening bringing together two cities and one family devoted to great food, drink, and hospitality.
