For one evening, the iconic Highlands welcomes two very special guests—Marie Stitt and Edward Crouse, co-founders of babas, Charleston's trio of all-day, European-inspired cafés—for a festive aperitivo.

Chef Frank Stitt's daughter, Marie, met her husband Edward while studying food culture in Northern Italy. The couple fell in love with the convivial aperitivo tradition, bringing that spirit home to Charleston to open babas in 2018. The beloved Charleston café is known for killer cocktails like their signature Tiny Tinis, natural wines and craveable snacks like pickled shrimp toast.

Marie and Edward will join Frank, Pardis and Weston Stitt (Marie's brother) for a celebratory evening bringing together two cities, two culinary communities and a family whose shared language is hospitality.
